My Story

My name is Mehreen, and in June 2023, I received the gift of life - a beautiful new heart.

I'm hoping that this can remain a long-term fundraiser, to raise funds for the incredible FHLTA - a charity that is so close to my 'heart'.

I joined the FHLTA team this year and participated in the British Transplant Games in Nottingham, two weeks after graduating in the very same city. It was the most beautiful experience, as I could connect with thousands of transplant recipients from all over the country and witness how organ donation can truly change lives.

Your donations would mean the world to me, and would support families pre- and post- transplant, as this charity helps to provide on-site accomodation for families to stay, whilst their loved ones are in the hospital receiving treatment, or recovering from life-changing operations.
